Give priority to using plant raw materials that have been organically certified (such as ECOCERT of the European Union and USDA of the United States), and do not use chemical pesticides or fertilizers during the planting process to avoid soil pollution. At the same time, the source of raw materials should meet the "sustainable collection" standard - for instance, when extracting rose essential oil, the root system of the rose plant should not be damaged to ensure its regeneration the following year. Or adopt "crop rotation planting" (for example, in a lavender planting base of a certain brand, leave the land fallow for one year every three years to restore soil fertility).
Do not use raw materials from endangered plants (such as wild Taxus chinensis and dendrobium) or those that damage the ecosystem - for instance, avoid using wood components that have not been certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardfire Council) (to prevent illegal logging), and do not use palm oil that causes rainforest destruction (if used, select products with "RSPO Sustainable Palm Oil Certification"). At the same time, rare ingredients from animal sources (such as musk and bear bile) are rejected.
