● Background: A client from Spain wanted to create his own facial care cream using Nicotinamide Mononucleotide(NMN) and Collagen XVII. He wanted the cream to have anti-aging and anti-wrinkle effects. Read on how Gelan Biotechnology helped him overcome the challenges of creating his skincare line.

Initial Consultation
This client has his own formula. He expects us to produce the products according to his formula. After reviewing it, we found that it was not a complete formula as it was lacking essential ingredients such as moisturizers and solvents. Furthermore, if the proportion of copper peptides is too high, the color of the product will turn into a dark blue, which is not a common color for a facial cream. So I explained to the client, and the client agreed us to adjust the formula.
Sampling and Quotation
After the formulation and ingredients were determined, we produced some samples for the client. We can send the samples out within two days after the clients' request. The client sent the samples to four laboratories for testing to verify the effect before placing the order. After three weeks, the customers informed us that the feedback of our sample was the best one.
Design and Planning
After the client was satisfied with the results of the sample, our design team helped him choose the right packaging for the product based on their budget. Once the client agreed on everything, they paid a deposit to commence the order process.
Proofing and Production
After Gelan Biotechnology design plan was sent to the client, the client reviewed the text and found no issues. They quickly confirmed the design. After receiving the customer's confirmation, we arranged for production.
Logistics and Delivery
The client wishes to distribute his goods separately. 7 cartons will be sent by sea, and 1 carton will be sent by air. One of the biggest challenges startups encountered was having an agent in China. Without one, businesses have to pay a big amount of money. But our clients need not worry about it because we help them overcome these difficulties. The client was happy and it became the start of a successful business relationship. They are scheduled to order the second batch from us.
